Lin and Henry have been finding and selling beautiful things since 1974.

They started working from London’s Portobello Road, where they still have a stall in the Admiral Vernon Market. They soon had special customers for their vintage clothing accessories and trimmings and fabrics. Lin worked closely with several of them, designing garments and making them with antique laces and old fabrics. This was so successful that she specialised for ten years in Vintage-inspired bridal gowns, and had her own shops, with the flagship store in Covent Garden. She was also selling to Liberty, Harrods and sixty other shops around the country.

Wanting a quieter life, Lin and Henry have moved to the Sussex countryside by the sea, and specialise now in old ribbons, trimmings, hats, lace, and anything beautiful. Their customers are typically set designers, stylists, vintage clothes shops as well as the discerning public.

Lin still designs clothing from antique and vintage lace, and sometimes mixes the old with twenty year old cotton laces and tulles, being fortunate enough to still have a large stock.
